  1. What will be your currency conversion rate?

    You can check our current conversion rate and the rate we offered our customers yesterday over here.

  2. I noticed that you do not charge a transaction fee or a currency conversion fee. What is the catch, how do you make money?

    We do charge you a withdrawal fee of $25 when you *choose* to withdraw money from your Zilra wallet. This will be the only area where we will be making money.

  3. How long does it take to receive my money from Zilra?

    Withdrawals are normally processed in 2 weekdays. We have a cut-off time set at 8 PM within which you should submit your withdrawal request to receive your withdrawal within the next 2 weekdays. For instance, if you submit a withdrawal request at 7.30 PM on Tuesday, you will receive your money in the bank by Thursday. On the other hand, if you submit your withdrawal at 8.30 PM, your money will reach your bank on Friday.

  4. How long does it take to receive a payment from my client?

    When a client sends us a check via mail, it would take a maximum of 3 business days to reach us. We will deposit your check the same day and it could take 2 to 3 business days for the check to get cleared. We will credit your Zilra wallet as soon as it does. So, a payment takes anywhere between 3 to 5 business days to get cleared from the day your client posts the check.

    If your client opts to pay online, you will receive your payment in your wallet in 3 business days from the time he/ she provides us the required information.

  5. Does Zilra have auto-withdrawal to charge me a withdrawal fee every month?

    No, we do not have auto-withdrawal. You can choose when you want to withdraw money from your Zilra wallet.

  6. Can I refund a payment made my client?

    Yes, you can refund a payment to your client.

  7. Does my client have to sign-up with Zilra to make a payment?

    No. Your client need not sign-up with Zilra to make you a payment.

  8. Will you deduct TDS on my withdrawal?

    Yes, we will deduct a 10% TDS on your INR withdrawals. We will provide you with the form 16A on the following month of your withdrawal using which you can claim the TDS amount after filing your IT returns. If you prefer no TDS on your withdrawal, you can opt for USD withdrawal which will cost you $50. In this case, we will need your international wire transfer (SWIFT) information for your bank account. We will process your withdrawal via International Wire Transfer from the US and you will receive the amount in USD to your bank account.
